DESCRIPTION:In the absence of an infirmary\, clinic or hospital in near proximity to the workplace\, the employer shall ensure the ready availability of a person or persons adequately trained to render first aid.    -OSHA 29 CFR 1910.151. All organizations\, regardless of industry or number of employees\, must comply with OSHA standard 29 CFR 1910.151 to protect the lives and health of their employees.  First Aid and CPR training provides employees the lifesaving skills they need to respond correctly during a medical emergency.  This class meets the current guidelines for CPR as well as the OSHA requirements for first aid training in the workplace.
