About Koehler Bright Star

Since its founding in 1912, Koehler Brightstar has been at the leading edge of design and development for jobsite lighting. They manufactured the first naphtha-burning safety light designed to be used in combustible coal mining atmospheres, then in 1918, developed the first rechargeable cap lamp. At a later date, they produced the first lithium-ion powered cap lamp which set a high bar as the most reliable source of lighting in the industry. 

Koehler Brightstar is based in Pennsylvania and all of their flashlights, lanterns and other lighting products are still developed and manufactured in the United States. Even as they continue to develop new products and explore new technologies, one thing stays consistent: their dedication to producing high-quality flashlights and lanterns that will illuminate even the most challenging conditions and environments.
