Supported Scaffold Competent Inspection Only

This 4-hour Supported Scaffold Inspection course is designed to provide training on the OSHA requirements contained in 29 CFR 1926, Subpart L – Scaffolds as they relate to the inspection of supported scaffold systems. The purpose of this course is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to properly inspect supported scaffolds before each work shift and after any occurrence that could affect the scaffold's structural integrity. Course topics include OSHA regulations, scaffold components, access and egress, fall protection, guardrail systems, platforms, load capacities, scaffold tagging, common hazards, and proper inspection procedures. Participants will learn how to identify unsafe conditions, recognize deficiencies, and verify that supported scaffold systems are maintained in a safe and compliant condition. This course focuses exclusively on scaffold inspection and hazard recognition. It does not provide training in the erection, dismantling, modification, or alteration of supported scaffold systems. Completion of this course alone does not deem a participant competent. Competent person designation is the responsibility of the employer. (PRICE - $175.00 per person). English Only.
